  • Camera Crib, an independent camera store in Manchester, were looking for a full brand redesign, along with a new brand direction and strategy. They wanted to grow their in-person footfall in Manchester and their limited online presence. The key goals were new branding, increasing revenue and online traffic and growing audience through marketing, The brand and store needed to be more accessible to young people, artists, photographers and local creative networks in Manchester.

  • We started by developing a full strategy plan with the team, creating vision boards and a step-by-step plan to establish key short, mid and long-term goals. This involved competitor and customer analysis. We used the developed values and vision to find designer Matthew Varker to create a new brand that fit our brief.

The existing website was not fit for purpose and featured a complicated menu system that made navigation difficult for customers. To address this, we designed and launched a new e-commerce website. We designed a full suite of marketing collateral incorporating the new brand and used photography taken by Camera Crib’s talented photographers to deliver a cohesive, visually engaging experience.

To further build customer connection and strengthen the store’s online presence, we organised community events, partnerships and giveaways.

  • Camera Crib’s new branding reflects a fresh, fun approach that is adaptable across multiple formats and is instantly recognisable. It stands out from competitors by bringing something truly original to the industry. The updated website has driven increased traffic, sales and conversion, seamlessly aligning with social media, newsletters and marketing collateral to create a cohesive brand experience.

Successful events and partnerships were established with ILFORD, Framelines and Fort Coffee, elevating the store to wider audiences and networks.
